Wm Brown x Hemingsworth Hamilton Shirt
Wm Brown x Hemingsworth Hamilton Shirt
The Hamilton shirt is inspired by the classic movie The Year of Living Dangerously, from the Christopher Koch novel of the same name.
Mel Gibson looks effortlessly stylish whilst in constant peril as intrepid reporter Guy Hamilton, and we all need a wardrobe staple for those circumstances.
Hamilton is a long sleeve safari style overshirt in heavier weight plain weave khaki linen, perfect for late summer or autumn as a shirt or mid-summer as a travel jacket over a tee or light weight shirt.
2 box pleated hip pockets with buttoned flap closure and 2 more on the chest with flaps but no button ease of use give the classic safari look, topped off with British made real horn buttons.
Long sleeves with vented buttoned cuff. Back yoke with plain shoulder. Pointed collar with stand.
The rear is superbly detailed, the sides are vented and the back has a deep central inverse pleat from yoke to hem, closed at the waist by a fixed half belt for a clean fit with maximum ease of movement.
A perennial piece for use across the seasons.
Made in England.
