Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So for me, it goes without saying that I love this classic Casio G-Shock 5000. Designed by Kikuo Ibe in the early '80s, not much has changed in terms of style and design for the world’s toughest watch. Most watch lovers admit to having at least one of these in their collection (I have a few!) and I find them to be as handsome as just about any Swiss watch I own.

The Longines Conquest Heritage is a modern reinterpretation of the original Longines Conquest collection, first introduced in the 1950s. Wearing it this week, I quickly took to the new version's bigger, 40mm case size (the original came in at 35mm). I also appreciated that the company chose to keep its vintage styling, to the point that without the larger case it would be hard to tell the vintage apart from the updated version
